The semi finals pitch will take place at The York Butter Factory at 61-66 King Street in Melbourne on Thursday December 1st between 6:00 PM and 8:30m PM. There will be a 6 minute pitch followed by a 2 minute Q&A. Aside from Melbourne, there will be semi finals taking place in Tokyo December 2nd and Mumbai December 3rd. Semi finals have already taken place in Sydney, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and Bangalore.

There is only one winner for each semi final and each winner will receive travel expenses reimbursed up to two-thousand dollars to attend the FF17 Pitch Finals in Hong Kong. Each semifinalist will also receive an exhibition space at the FinTech Finals Startup Village in Hong Kong and a chance to win the grand prize of 10,000 US Dollars in the final pitch competition.
