Graduated with piano performance experience from Ferris University, Yokohama and
a year participating in the Asia Pacific Program from Royal College of Music, London.
Shizuka initially worked in the sales department of a PR Company in Tokyo for three years,
whilst at the same time fulfilling her passion for music, teaching piano in Tokyo to young children.
In 2011, Shizuka organized a classical music charity event for 100 people,
to raise money and support the victims of the Japanese Fukushima earthquake.
Currently in her six year in Singapore, Shizuka is a certified Music Together Teacher,
obtaining her licence after an intensive course in Los Angeles in May 2017.
Shizuka is passionate to continue her desire of teaching piano and
educating young children through music.
Born in Tokyo and enamoured with music as a toddler, Hisae begun learning piano
from the tender age of five and went on to study Solfège whilst participating
in her choir group which clinched various awards in the Tokyo as well as
the Kantou competition divisions.
Hisae arrived in Singapore in 1991 and has been a resident since. For 20 years, she was the music director of her former church and assumed the role of pianist,
worship leader and choir conductor.
Driven by her passion for music, in addition to her church activities, Hisae continued her studies at the Singapore Bible College, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in church music. During her studies, she participated in numerous concerts
with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
Presently, Hisae serves her church as a pianist.
Music has the power to nourish our hearts, sustain our souls and be the comfort that is sometimes much needed, and it is Hisae’s joy to be able to share this with the children.
Judah has always shown a love and passion for music since her early years. She played in musical productions between the age of 5-9 years old. Trained to play various musical instruments by her father and eventually pursued Music Education in the Philippines, followed by a move to Singapore in 2008 to study for a diploma in Songwriting and Production from the School of Music and Arts.
Judah was signed by Universal Music in 2011 as a songwriter and has been writing and collaborating with local and regional artists ever since. Her continuous pursuit for songwriting and musical excellence landed her regional awards comprising artists from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Between 2009-2014, Judah has taught music in various primary and secondary schools, as well as specialist music schools around Singapore. Her tuition includes ukulele, guitar, piano and songwriting/production for Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs). Judah obtained her Music Together certification in 2016 in Sydney and has been teaching the course ever since, sharing the children's progress as well as their family experiences in class.
Born in Tokyo, Rei graduated from Tokyo College of Music with vocal performance her specialty.
Rei has been involved with music wherever she has been. She studied Solfège and Chorus from the age of 4 at Musashino's Music Academy. Upon turning 12 years old, she performed in operas including “Die Zauberflöte” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and “Hansel and Gretel” by Engelbert Humperdinck.
In 2006, Rei was awarded an excellence award at the 9th “Shikararete” vocal competition in Japan. More recently, Rei performed at her college graduation ceremony.
Rei is now a certified Music Together Teacher obtaining her license after an intensive course in Singapore in Feb 2019.
Currently in her first year in Singapore, Rei is passionate to continue her desire of teaching Piano.
